With an Apprenticeship, you can earn money while you’re learning and gain recognised qualifications as you work.
As employees, Apprentices earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. Off the job, usually on a day-release basis, Apprentices receive training to work towards nationally recognised qualifications. Apprenticeships can take between one and four years to complete depending on the level of Apprenticeship, the Apprentices’ ability and the industry sector.

The contact centres industry is one of the fastest growing in the UK. Contact Centre Apprentices could work for a number of businesses across a range of sectors. On this Apprenticeship youíll work the phones and computer systems; listen and communicate; solve problems; and work with a team in a fast-paced environment. This could lead to roles such as Trainee Agent, Help Desk Operative, Customer Service Advisor and Telephone Banking Advisor.
This Apprenticeship teaches you the skills to provide excellent customer service, and can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors. As a Customer Service Apprentice, youíll probably work at the front end of an employerís business activities and regularly assist customers. The Apprenticeship typically leads to roles such as Customer Service Trainee/Assistant/Representative/Agent.
The Accountancy Advanced Apprenticeship covers the Association of Accounting Technicians Intermdiate Accounts qualification along with Key Skills/Functional Skills.

Duties will vary between sectors, but in most cases youíll be making sure that customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way. The Level 3 Apprenticeship typically leads to roles such as Customer Relationship Manager/Co-ordinator/Team Leader.
The Access to Higher Education course provides you with a qualification that will enable you to progress to university to study a range of vocational and academic degree programmes. The Access course is an ideal way of developing the skills necessary to progress to university whilst studying subjects that are relevant to your chosen degree programme. Students without recent educational experience normally take the pre-access programme in order to develop skills in literacy and numeracy, which enables students to develop confidence in their ability to study at a higher level before starting the Access programme. Successful completion of the Access course will provide you with a nationally recognised qualification that is an alternative to the traditional qualifications required by universities.
This is a fun and exciting new course that recognises the rapid growth of Social Media as a business tool and has been to support those wishing to enter this new environment. You will be looking at the Marketing aspects of Social Media and will develop the skills and knowledge required in order to be effective in anyone of the following careers: Digital Marketing Assistant; Digital Marketing Manager; Online Marketing Manager; Communications Officer; PR; Advertising; Digital Account Manager; Content Manager; Web developer; Web analyst; Social Media Analyst; Enterprise Developer; Social Media Assistant; Social Media Manager; Social Media Consultant; Enterprise Developer.
During the course you will learn about the use of Social Media within a Business and the principles of keywords and search optimisation, as well as how to manage Social Networking in a business.
The knowledge, understanding and skills learnt in studying the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business will help your progression to further study and prepare you to enter the workplace in due course. If you are thinking about a career as an assistant in business administration, retail, marketing, finance, human resources, sales and customer service, then this is the qualification for you.
BTECs are vocationally related qualifications, where you will develop knowledge and understanding by applying your learning and skills in a work-related context. During the course you will take responsibility for your own learning and develop skills that are essential for the modern-day workplace. These skills include: team working; working from a prescribed brief; working to deadlines; presenting information effectively; and accurately completing administrative tasks and processes.
Units you will study include four core units: Business Purposes, Business Organisations, Financial Forecasting for Business, People in organisations. In addition you will complete a further 5 units covering the areas of customer service, business trading online, business planning, marketing and accounting.
The course offers an interesting and challenging series of units designed to provide you with a broad knowledge of business and help you develop relevant skills to enable you to progress into work in the modern business world.
You will initially complete six units during the first year which combine practical activity and academic study that will lead to a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business (equivalent to 1 A Level), you then have the option to progress on to one of the following vocational specialist pathways (equivalent to 3 A-Levels) beginning in the first year and ending in the summer of the second year.

Units you will study include four core units: Business Environment, Business Resources, Introduction to Marketing, Business Communication. You will then study four specialist units in Retail or Marketing and a further 10 units including Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, Team Building, Events Management, Career Development, Recruitment and Selection, Website Design and Business planning.
The Level 4 Diploma in Management and Leadership is designed for junior managers to help them grow professional management skills including decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capability. At the same time you will be able to develop personal management capabilities, make effective use of information in decision-making, operations and the development of the skills in managing people. With a more comprehensive structure, our Level 4 Diploma in Management and Leadership gives you all the key skills and competencies you'll need to become the manager you want to be, typical units: Managing stakeholder expectations, Managing team dynamics, Management report writing, Introducing organisational culture, values and behaviour, Being a leader.
This course builds on from the SAGE Level 1 course. Students will learn how to process accounting transactions, produce customer and supplier documents and produce reports such aged credit analysis and sales day book summaries.
