Prince's Trust Team

What is this course about?

The Prince's Trust Team twelve week self-development programme is for anyone aged 16-25. Gain up to six Level 1 qualifications and build on your practical and life skills such as communication, team work, tolerance, problem solving and confidence.

Entry Requirements

This course is for anyone aged 16-25 regardless of previous qualifications and experience.

How is it taught?

This programme is taught through a mixture of class based awareness sessions and practical activities out in the community, and includes an induction, residential, resourcing, community project, work placement, next steps, team challenge and final presentation weeks.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is based on the completion of a portfolio based on experience gained during the programme, and a series of one day assessments.

What else do I need to know?

The course is delivered from our team rooms in Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford, Burton,Cauldon, Newcastle and Burslem, and planned and delivered by one of our experienced Team Leaders. There is additional support provided by Essential Skills Workers attached to each team.

What could I do next?

There are a variety of progression options available, and successful team members usually progress onto further education, employment with training or volunteering, with all students receiving on-programme support with their progression.
