Entry Requirements

Students need to be employed within a health and social care setting. Administration of medication needs to be a key role of their employment.

How is it taught?

Learning takes place in a friendly and relaxed environment. Your lecturer or the guidance team are there to help you get the most from your course. Some directed study is also required from the student.
A distance learning route may be available.

How will I be assessed?

Students are supported to develop evidence within the classroom that demonstrates that the learning outcomes have been met.

What else do I need to know?

Students need to be employed within a health and social care setting. Administration of medication needs to be a key role of their employment. This knowledge and competence will be further developed during the course.

What could I do next?

Students can progress to Level 2/3 Diploma in health and social care depending upon their role. Shorter courses of study, for example end of life care, first aid courses.
