Entry Requirements

There are no formal qualifications required, however, a level 1 in literacy is advisable.

How is it taught?

In a classroom environment via a combination of individual and group activities.

Practical activities are included to ensure that learners will be able to apply their learning within the care sector.

How will I be assessed?

Learners need to provide a portfolio of evidence to gain the certification with the awarding organisation.

The lecturer will provide advcie and guidance as to how this can be successfully completed.

Learners can commence the course during the academic year as the course is roll on/roll off.
