Hazardous agents in the workplace
Workplace and work equipment safety
Workplace-based assignment

Entry Requirements

Succcessful achievement of a NEBOSH certificate course or equivalent.
An informal interview is required for entry onto this course.

How is it taught?

Classroom taught sessions. Sessions are interactive and it is expected that students will fully participate.

How will I be assessed?

Each taught session is separately assessed by a written examination. There is a workplace-based assignment requiring application of learning across the syllabus.

What else do I need to know?

The NEBOSH National Diploma aims to provide the knowledge and understanding required by a competent health and safety professional.

Learners should be aware that in addition to attending the taught sessions, to be successful in achieveing the qualification, a minimum of 225 hours of private study time should be undertaken.

What could I do next?

Other vocationally related courses or progression to MSc level awards (dependent of the requirenents of individual Higher Educational establishments).
