PCDL - Computer Networking Fundamentals

What is this course about?

This course is an introduction to networking devices (hubs, switches, routers, bridges, wireless, NICs, etc) along with their operation and configuration.

The types and properties of cables are also discussed and created. Students will perform a Windows configuration to create a network to share resources.

This course is for adults with an interest in the subject area.

How is it taught?

There will be plenty of practical and hands on activities. The class will have a mixture of individual and small group activities.
