The quality of the training materials provided, the font size, text and layout of the books are really good, especially to a dyslexic like myself. The access to the online platform, E-assessor is very good and easy to understand for submitting assessments.

My assessments have always been assessed and marked very quickly with encouraging comments if I need to resubmit. My assessor has been an excellent support and has constantly encouraged me to ask for any help and to ensure I complete my tasks within the deadlines. She has been very understanding and it has been a pleasure to work with her and Stoke on Trent college to complete this Level 2.

From application to completion, the service I have received has been excellent, which is important for someone with a special learning difficulty, as accessing education and gaining qualifications can be extremely overwhelming if the support is not there.

  • You must live in England (not available to people living in Ireland, Scotland or Wales)

My experience with the College has been an outstanding one. I have done several Distance Learning courses with the College and the support has been excellent from day one. From the sign up process I had communication and choices about If I wanted a paper assessment or electronic to meet my individual learning style.

My tutors have given me prompt and robust feedback, always at the end of an email or phone if required. If I have had to complete any resubmissions, support and guidance has been given to me to allow me to pass the resubmission so that I can achieve the qualification.

The feedback given from the tutors is very detailed and allows you to go off and do additional reading on the subject if you wish. A very good service, keep it up! I will be doing more learning with the College.

I’d like to thank the College for their support, patience, kindness and upmost professionalism, as they were always available when I required guidance. This course has enabled me to take my first step towards becoming a mental health nurse.

I don’t know how to thank the College for all they’ve done in assisting me and guiding me throughout my course and I hope they realise how much they have changed my life!
