Life at Stoke on Trent College is about much more than just studying, with a great social scene and a range of activities and facilities available to all. From socialising and chilling out to exercise and sports, right through to meeting for a coffee or a meal, there’s something to suit everyone at the College.

Students' Union
Our popular Students’ Union offers a common room at both our Cauldon and Burslem sites, including Internet access, games consoles, pool tables, TV and music. The Union also organises a great range of social events and activities, such as trips to The Clothes Show Live and Alton Towers. If travelling further afield is more your thing, then you can even take part in our Challenge South Africa exchange project.

In addition to the Students’ Union, both our Cauldon and Burslem sites offer a fantastic range of clubs and societies as part of our enrichment programme.

Activities on offer range from badminton and five-a-side football to archery and even a sub aqua. What’s more, the Cauldon site also boasts a great gym. It’s open six days a week and is fully equipped with a range of exercise equipment, with friendly fitness instructors on hand to help you keep fit.

Food for thought
After a hard day of study and exercise you’re bound to have worked up an appetite, so you’ll be pleased to hear our dedicated catering team can offer the right meal for you. This could be snacks or a traditional meal at the Potters or Foyer restaurants or just a great cup of coffee from the Terrace Coffee Shop.

We even have a fine dining restaurant run by our own catering students, The Atrium.

So, you’ll be sure to enjoy your time at Stoke on Trent College both while studying and with your spare time too!
