Following a £36million college transformation, Stoke on Trent College is now home to some of the most advanced educational buildings and facilities for students to enjoy.

The significant refurbishment of both campuses will now ensure the College is able to further provide learners with the experience they need to achieve long term employment in their chosen career, while also responding to the needs and requirements of employers.

The renovation includes:

£6.5million Sports Academy and landscaping

The new Sports Academy opened its doors in Autumn 2013 and provides state-of-the-art facilities for our students, staff and local community. The building features a brand new sports hall, fully-equipped gym and dance studio. It is also home to and advanced Sports Analysis suite and classrooms.

£17.5million refurbishment of our Burslem Campus

Significant investment  in the Burslem Campus, off Moorlands Road, has witnessed the upgrading of its overall appearance and extensive leisure facilities. It now provides students with a modern, spacious and creative campus; home to modernised restaurants, reception areas and classrooms.

The investment has also seen the development of a new state-of-the-art Technology Hub to provide advanced Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction facilities on the campus for students. The Sports Hall has also been considerably renovated, providing students with first-class sporting and enrichments facilities.

£12million investment in our Cauldon Campus

Our new look Cauldon campus, off Stoke Road, includes the construction of a new and impressive 3,500 sq m Enterprise Hub, which is now home to our main reception, all our learning support services and admissions, as well as a new coffee bar selling Costa coffee. Several of our subject areas including Business and IT, Science, Public Services, Sport and Travel are also delivered from the innovative building, which is situated at the heart of the campus. The teaching space has been devised specifically for business and management, science, digital information and web-based technologies, providing exceptional facilities and surroundings for all our students.

We understand college life isn’t all about study, so the relocation and remodelling of our Student Union means all our learners can now enjoy a range of activities, including futsal, pool, gaming and general socialising, in a large modern space. More than 50 enrichment activities, societies and clubs operate from the new Union, making it a vibrant and exciting new area to enjoy between study.
