If you struggle with English and/or maths, need to improve your confidence or just require a bit more support to help you reach your learning goals then Foundation courses may be for you. Our courses include ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), Prince’s Trust Team (personal development course) and a range of Preparation for Vocation courses in a variety of subject areas e.g. catering, health & social care, ICT, motor vehicle, sport and many more – all designed to give you the necessary skills required to progress onto the  mainstream college curriculum. We also include Skills for Living and Work, delivered in our purpose-made Eco House at Burslem, where students can learn how to gain independent living skills in a genuine home environment.

Foundation Learning courses are available for 16-18 year olds.
