Introduction to the Role of Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver BTEC Level 2

The BTEC Introduction to the role of professional taxi and private hire driver qualification is now a mandatory requirement for taxi and private hire drivers coming into the industry by most licencing councils. The course covers drivers and passengersÕ health and safety, road safety, fuel efficient driving, driving laws and licencing conditions, vehicle maintenance, customer service skills, equality and disability awareness, transporting children, safe carriage of luggage. It is a knowledge based qualification which is delivered by qualified industry competent tutors in a classroom environment. This course can be delivered over a short period of time i.e. 3 weeks or a longer period subject to demand.
