Since joining the college on a Level 3 Sports course, Tom has developed his confidence in both the theory and practical elements of the course. He has taken on the challenge of developing his confidence and his level of resilience seeing him shine as a coach. As a result of his continued volunteering and coaching endeavours, he has been nominated for the AoC National Volunteer of the month and was awarded Sports Person of the Year at the college Celebrating Success Awards

This fantastic success, along with achieving grade D*D*D* on his course has led to Tom being awarded a 4-year scholarship at St. Louis in America to play football.
