How Is It Assessed
Assessment is by examinations, coursework and class tests, giving you feedback on your progress whilst allowing you to develop the skills required when tackling a variety of assessment types.
How Is It Taught
This course integrates scientific theory and practice and you will be taught by lecture, laboratory based practical experiments, group work, seminar based work and research. The first year of the course is based at Stoke on Trent College and the subsequent three years are taken at Staffordshire University in Stoke on Trent. Stoke on Trent College’s Science team are based in the new University Science Centre on the University Campus, therefore, you will study in this new, state-of-the-art facility.

You will study your first year at Stoke on Trent College and on successful completion of year one (Level 3) will join the BSc (Hons) course at the Stoke on Trent University Campus to complete years 2 (Level 4), 3 (Level 5) and 4 (Level 6).
