Course Summary

This T Level is suitable for anyone wanting a career in health and childcare, for example as a care worker, palliative care assistant or dental nurse.

All students will develop a general understanding of health and science through topics including providing person-centered care, supporting health and well-being, human anatomy and physiology and infection prevention and control, before specialising in adult nursing.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths, English and Science. You will have a pre-induction interview/assessment to make sure this is the right level for you. All learners will need a clear DBS prior to the start of the course and will be required to purchase a uniform.

How Is It Taught

T Levels offer a mix of classroom learning and 'on-the-job' experience, including a substantial industry placement of at least 315 hours, around 20% of the course.

T Levels are designed to enable you to progress to university or into employment, or to a degree level Apprenticeship or further higher level study at college.
