How will I be assessed?
Assessment is on-going throughout the course. For each unit that you work on, you will have to complete an assessment to evidence your learning and understanding. Your tutor will tell you when the assessments will take place. You must successfully pass all of the unit assessments in order to pass the course successfully.
What else do I need to know?
All of the Prep 4 courses are smaller sized classes to allow more individual support that nurtures and develops learners and their learning. As the course progresses throughout the year, more independence and autonomy is encouraged.
What could I do next?
Support is provided to identify progression pathways that are appropriate to the individual. Progression can be within the Preparation 4 Vocation area to a level 1 or employability course or it can be within the Hospitality and Catering area or any of the other vocational areas that are on offer in college.
