What is this course about?This qualification is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of the skills needed to work in the adult social care sector. This consists of 9 mandatory units; 1 Principles of Communication in adult social care settings 2 Principles of personal development in adult social care settings 3 Principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in health and social care settings 4 Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care 5 Principles for implementing duty of care in health, social care or children?s and young people?s settings 6 Understand the role of the social worker 7 Understand person centred approaches in adult social care settings 8 Understand health and safety in social care settings 9 Understand how to handle information in social care settings
Entry RequirementsIt is recommended that you successfully complete the Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care prior to enrolling on this course. You will be required to complete an initial online assessment prior to being accepted on this qualification.
