To learn and enjoy a series of Relaxation techniques in order to reduce muscle tension and develop deep breathing which reduces anxiety and stress symptoms and develops relaxation and calmness.

Walk and Relax Session for Students and Staff
To learn and enjoy a series of Relaxation and Mindfulness techniques to enhance the individual’s four senses of sight, smell, sound and touch whilst being in nature.
12pm – 12.30pm 6/5/19 Cauldon, 20/5/19 Burslem, 1/7/19 Cauldon, 8/7/19 Burslem.
Cauldon meet at the Enterprise Hub Reception, Burslem meet outside B5 Counselling and Wellbeing room – no booking needed just turn up at 12pm on the dates available.
20 minute Relaxation session for Staff
8.30-8.50am prior to starting classes/work – H005 in Cauldon 6/5/19; 3/6/19; 1/7/19 and B5 in Burslem 8/4/19; 20/5/19; 24/6/19 and 8/7/19 and is limited to a maximum of 10 places per session. Book your place by emailing Joy Hewitt.

A support group to discuss and explore symptoms, concerns and experiences. The provision of a safe environment to learn from each other ways to manage symptoms, concerns and experiences on a daily basis.
Introduction to Ways of Taking Care of your Mental Health
Joy can visit booked classes at 9.15am-10.15am or 10.30am-11.30am or 2.00pm-3.00pm. These will be in Burslem on 8/4/19; 20/5/19; 24/6/19; 8/7/19 and in Cauldon on 6/5/9; 3/6/19; 1/7/19.
These sessions will cover a brief discussion on what is mental health, a mental health quiz, discussion of ways to look after mental health, highlighting the different support options available for mental health and a range of brief relaxation techniques.
