College falls silent to remember those in London.

Stoke on Trent College will join the rest of the country tomorrow in a minutes silence.

Staff and students will observe a minutes silence on Tuesday 6th June 2017 at 11am in remembrance of those who lost their lives and all others affected by the attacks in London on Saturday night.

Interim principal David White said: “Our students were particularly affected by the terrorist attacks in Manchester, with our Foundation Bridge Academy creating artwork to show their support to the City.  This is just another example of how they unite to work against adversity and atrocity”.

Due to GCSE examinations, taking place there will be no alarms to mark the silence, but staff will be conducting their own remembrance in classrooms and around the two campus sites.
