Domiciliary care companies and care homes from across Stoke on Trent will be hosting a recruitment event supported by Stoke on Trent College on Thursday, May 21st, between 9am and 1pm.
The event will give people the opportunity to speak to companies about what opportunities are available and apply for roles on the spot. All the companies involved have positions available and no experience is necessary.
Organisations attending include:
· Allied Healthcare
· ANA Nursing and Care Services
· Care UK Homecare Limited
· Care Homes Stoke Limited
· Carewatch Care Services Ltd
· Crossroads Care
· Custom Care
· Homecare Support
· Mears Care Ltd
· Prestige Nursing Staffordshire
· Radis Community Care
Representatives from Stoke on Trent College will also be on hand to talk to visitors interested in Distance Learning courses in care and Health and Social Care Apprenticeship opportunities.
The event is open to anyone over the aged of 18 years of age, with an interest in care work, and is a great opportunity to ask the experts and get face-to-face advice about working in the industry. Every single one of these companies involved has opportunities waiting to be snapped up.
The event is also suitable for those in the care industry already who want to find out about training opportunities available to them that will help them get ahead in their chosen career.
The recruitment event comes after care companies in the area expressed their difficulty in finding candidates for the sector at a working group meeting, which takes place monthly to share good practice and is attended by the college.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 21st, between 9am and 1pm, at Stoke on Trent’s Cauldon Campus, Stoke Road, Shelton, ST4 2DG.
