Children from the Stoke on Trent College’s First Steps Day Nursery will be dressing up as princesses and superheroes to raise funds for charity.
Taking place at the nursery on Wednesday April 6, which is located on the College’s Cauldon Campus, the event is supporting the charity Momentum, which helps the victims of major brain injuries through rehabilitation centres around the UK.
This is the nursery’s second year of partnership with the charity.
Last year’s efforts saw the day nursery host a ‘pyjama day’ which encouraged pupils and staff to come in wearing their sleepwear, raising £250 for the charity.
Nursery Manager Karen Whitmarsh said, “The children love doing their bit for charity and here at First Steps Day Nursery we are proud to be raising money for such a worthy cause such as brain injury.”
