Staff and Students at Stoke on Trent College will be showing their support for the Donna Louise Trust this Friday by supporting their Christmas Jumper Day Campaign.

As well as donating £2 for the privilege of wearing their Christmas jumpers, they will also take part in a raffle to raise money.

Proceeds from the event will be split between the local charity and Save the Children who hold their Christmas Jumper Day later in the month..

Stoke on Trent College PR Officer, Verity Hilton, said:  “Throughout the year we support a number of charities, usually with a coloured theme.  We made May Purple for the Stroke Association and in October turned everywhere Pink for cancer charities.  At the beginning of the month it was red ribbons for national Aids Day and now there is the opportunity for all of us wear our Christmas jumpers or finery to raise money for children and families at what can be an extra challenging time of the year”.
