Companies from across Stoke on Trent are invited to come together in the New Year at an event aimed at driving forward business and supporting local economy.
Representatives from companies across the city are invited to attend the Business Breakfast Club on Wednesday, February 1st at our Burslem Campus at Stoke on Trent College.
The support and networking group has been set up to provide key information about topical issues affecting business – particularly the new Levies and how they affect employers!
Experts will be on hand to discuss the implications of government changes to apprenticeship funding and what it will mean for their business, as well as how companies can benefit from building lasting partnerships with local schools. They will also have an opportunity to network and help forge new industry links in the community.
The Business Breakfast Club, run by Stoke on Trent College, is supporting all sizes of business locally, and will focus on different sectors of business as well as different elements within employers in the coming months. Each member of the team has a wealth of experience in their sector, supporting businesses large and small with their staff’s training needs.
Lisa Davies, Head of Business Development at Stoke on Trent College, said: “‘If you are looking for an enjoyable, interactive forum to get the latest updates on apprenticeship reforms, public funding and work force development solutions, the Stoke on Trent College Business Breakfasts are the ideal place.
Meetings are every 6 weeks on a Wednesday and are held alternately at the Cauldon and Burslem campuses. Start time is 7.30am and finishing time is 9am. We have guests representing a wide range of businesses, all keen to network and share best practice. We look forward to welcoming you in the New Year! ”
