This week the second year BTEC Level 3 Travel and Tourism students visited Milan for 3 nights as a part of their ‘Residential Study Visit’ unit.
The whole trip was planned and organised by the students as a way of developing their travel organisation skills and during their stay they visited some iconic landmarks in the cultural city including: The Duomo Cathedral, Arco Della Pace, Sforza Castle and the San Siro football stadium.
By taking part in the trip students were also able to develop their language skills and experience the Italian culture, as well as being able to develop and exercise their leadership skills.
According to one student “it was a fantastic trip and an unforgettable experience – I’d love to come back”.
