Established in 2020, the Oliver Marshall Sports Leader Academy is an opportunity for learners to experience a broad range of challenging, stimulating, exciting and fun opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills and experience of sports leadership. Learners work with a range of partners to deliver sport and physical activities to diverse groups of participants, across elite sport, school sport, grassroots sport and sport participation. If you are considering a career in coaching, teaching or sport development these opportunities will provide you with invaluable insight, experience and enjoyment.

Observe and support elite coaches working with Staffordshire Cricket Disability Team and Stoke City Regional Disability Talent Hub.

Support Stoke-on-Trent School Sport Coordinators and Together Active to deliver sport across the City and County.

Grassroots Sport

Support a variety of voluntary sports clubs, across different sports, to deliver sports activities.

Sport Participation & NGBs

Opportunities to support a diverse range of people to participate in sport and physical activity, including: Walking Cricket, Tabletop Cricket, Goalball, Wheelchair Basketball and Slam Jam Basketball.
