After an Initial Assessment some students may be advised to follow a Maths Refresher course first. During the first few weeks of the course you can get advice from the teacher and change to the refresher course if you wish.

How Is It Taught

Doing GCSE Maths at College is very different to School, the teachers are very friendly and approachable. The maths teachers are experienced and make the learning fun and understandable with many new and excellent teaching ideas. In addition to regular attendance you will need to study outside the taught sessions, to help with this we have on-line resources designed especially for this course.

GCSE Maths (Grade 4 or above) is a very valuable qualification for a wide range of jobs and higher courses.

What Else Do I Need To Know

Please note that to be able to study this course, you need to have first completed the 'GCSE Introduction - Maths' 3 week course first. The introduction course helps us to make sure you are placed with the right group for Maths GCSE
