Course Summary

This course will support you in entering the nail industry, where you will focus on nail enhancements, manicure treatments and client care.

Entry Requirements

Two Grade 4 GCSE's, at least one in English or Maths or a level 1 in Beauty.

How Is It Assessed

You will be assessed through a range of methods, including written assessments and online tests for the theory part of the course and you will be expected to conduct practical assessments on clients to show your practical competencies.

How Is It Taught

The course is taught at college for four days a week and you will also be expected to do one day a week in a work placement where nail services are provided. You will work in the fully working nail salons and work on real life clients to gain experience.

What Could I do Next

After this course you could progress to a Beauty Course, or level 3 Nails course, or you could enter the world of work as a nail technician.

What Else Do I Need To Know

You will be required to buy a kit and a Uniform as part of the course, details of which are available on request.
